NaNoWriMo Day 15, 16 & 17!

Hi guys! Sorry the last two days haven't had any posts...it's just that I haven't written anything. That is, until today...I had the goal of writing 5,000 or so words today, and while I did not meet that goal (looks like no binge-watching Revenge tonight!) I still wrote quite a lot of my NaNo book. In case you didn't know, it's called The Last Dragomir. And here are it stats:

2014-11-01: 4,055
2014-11-02: 6,326
2014-11-03: 9,000

2014-11-17: 27,000

Guys! I passed the halfway mark! I am so, unbelievably happy about this, I can't even! Okay, and now, I am going to share a very small excerpt from Chapter Four, where a little bit of action comes into play and such. Here it is:

"A man came out from the shadows then, right behind Joel. Joel was expecting it, though. He dodged the blade outstretched towards him, and he pulled a dagger out from his side and stabbed it through the man’s head. He fell to the ground, dead.

Cortana could barely think, could barely breathe. Everything was happening so fast, and now Joel was leaving.

“Wait! Please, don’t go! I want to know more!” called Cortana. But Joel didn’t stop, and continued running up the steps.

Leaving Cortana with her thoughts and a dead body."

Yes, I am particularly proud of that section because it is kind of creepy, action-y, cool-y, and things like that.

Also, I wanted to give you all a heads up: I may not post here tomorrow, because I have GLEE tomorrow until 5:00pm, then I have to come home, get dressed, and go to an alumni dinner for my old school at 6:00pm, get home by 8:30pm, and then try to get some of my homework done somewhere in that time. So I may not get a lot of writing done, but it will be some, I can guarantee you that. I don't want to get 5,000 words behind again...now I'm only 3,000 words behind! Yay....

Okay, see you (maybe) tomorrow, or Wednesday!!!
